Best Flash web designs - Siglo Comunicacion

Ok, just grabbed this one from QB Media's blog. If you dont know QB Media by now they just do some awesome, simple and fast loading websites.

Siglo's (seems to be some kind of advertising agency or book publisher...sorry but the site is only in spanish) website design is beautiful, with a simple and effective interface and some cool parallaxing effect going on each and every page. It has some nice features such as section previews and changeable backgrounds which look really nice and build some kind of pleasent atmoshpere. I repeat, the site is very simple: you won't find crazy After Effects backgrounds or other eye candy elements, but, somehow, it looks modern and works in many levels.

Hi Josha! Thank you for your opinion of our website. You're right we must have our site in english too, we're working on that. We are a communication agency and we've been working too hard with the people of QBMedia to get done this great piece of work! As you perfectly said the site is very simple, that was the idea... beautiful, modern keeping a simple and effective interface. We appreciate that! Kindest Regards ;P Gimena.

Josha, saw your comment in article, "100 Artworks from the Top 20 Digital Artists in Latin America" about Colombian designers. I am Director of Fundraising and Events for a scholarship fund that will send Colombian Design students to university in Colombia. Our website explains everything.

Our first major fundraiser is October 11th and I am trying to get as many Colombian designers (in different fields of design) to submit work for our silent auction. The more focus we bring to Colombian Designers in the US, the more successful our Foundation will be in supporting more design students in Colombia.

If you know Colombian designers in the US, Visual or otherwise, who would like to donate their work to our silent auction, please forward this to them. Have them contact me (info on our website www.wally10.org) Having designers send work directly from Colombia becomes involved with importing, something we aren't currently able to accommodate.

We will post donations on our website as they arrive with links to their websites, email, whatever they want for exposure. Thank you, Tim Harris

Take care
